Our extra
virgin olive oil

The olive groves of the Kadum family are located in Buića, a small town 5 km from Poreč. In addition to the old olive grove at the location of Brajda, Darko planted a new olive grove at the location of Vograd in 1999, thus continuing the tradition that his old grandfather Ivan, known as Mateuš, had started. The olive groves are treated exclusively with natural means with ecological processing, as our ancestors did, and the olives are harvested and processed by selecting the ideal moment, transport and processing in a certified oil mill for ecological production, within a few hours. Fast processing exclusively using a cold process and keeping the oil in stainless steel barrels under an inert gas until filtering and bottling are the guarantee of an excellent product of Kadum extra virgin olive oil. Kadum extra virgin olive oil is made from several types of olives such as Buža, Istrian white, Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Lecce del corno, Moraiolo, Maurino, Coratina and Ascolana. With a selected blend of oils from different varieties of olives, we get two types - Mild and Intense Kadum extra virgin olive oil.

Mild extra-virgin olive oil Kadum is a blend of single-varietal oils, mostly of the Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio and Maurino varieties, which give an oil of golden yellow color with shades of green. Its smell is reminiscent of almond and olive fruit, and it has a light and rich taste. It is excellent for fish dishes, especially raw fish, as well as vegetables and various salads.

Intense extra-virgin olive oil Kadum has a clear golden-green color, rich aroma of cut grass and artichoke with notes of chicory and rosemary. The blend is mostly monovarietal oils
